A piece of photographic art depicts a dark, surreal scene. There is a rough, clay sculpture of a woman back to us. She has her left hand out with palm facing down like she is refusing or saying no. She is a basic shape with no hair. In front of her are two large, tall, roughly painted rectangles. One is black and the other purple. They are her obstacles. There are also bright, abstract lights in the bottom left and right corners. Triangle objects of thin lines also are at the top.

This series was created to honor Women's History Month. A series I hoped would convey some struggle, but also the resulting empowerment of that struggle. Fazes of a life that require strength and determination to grow and dream.
